Scrappy 9 Patch Swap! Sign Ups Full!

Sign ups are full for Round 1 !  Thanks everyone!

Hello everyone!  How about a little swap?  I thought it would be really fun to put together this quilt with scrappy nine-patches.  Nine patches take a lot less time to make when you strip piece them. And when you swap with 41 of your favorite friends, you get a little bit of everyone's stash in your quilt.

Here's how this works:
  •  You will need two awesome 1 yard cuts of fabric (36" x 42") (modern quilt store quality fabrics, no solids this round)
  •  You will need to be able to complete and send your 41 nine patches (6.5" x 6.5") by November 10th, 2013.
  •  You will need a self addressed stamped envelope (a USPS flat rate envelope works well) to send with your blocks so I can send them back. It's best to add tracking!
Pretty fun, huh?  I will swap everyone's blocks once they all arrive and ship you back 41 different blocks!  Super scrappy nine patchy fun!

Here are the instructions on how to turn your two 1 yard cuts of fabric into 42 nine patches.  You will KEEP ONE nine patch and send the other 41 to me by the deadline.

Ready to join in?

Fill in your name and email address and I will send out an email to everyone with more instructions!  Check out #scrappy9patchswap on Instagram to see everyone's progress!  The quilt at the top uses all 42 nine patches with 3" finished sashing!
